John Schmid is a musician from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Writing and recording original songs since he was a teenager, John’s genre is uniquely his own. Elements of rock, R’n’B, soul, MPLS sound, and jazz blend into each track and across each album. Significantly, John’s lyrics do not rhyme, but remain free to focus entirely on the important message that each song’s speaker desires to share and convey.
John plays piano, organ, bass guitar and guitar, and sings. He has previously played with numerous cover bands and has collaborated with numerous other musicians on their original projects.
